Da Kū Keiki
Aloha, my name is Shardae and I am the owner of the Da Kū Keiki Hawai’i. I have two Keiki Kāne - Kūnuiākea (4) & Pāhili (1). They are the sole reason I started my business. As a māmā who loves to shop for them I always found that the boys section is always smaller & limited compared to the girls section. Which led us here, creating a store where you can always find products for your Keiki Kāne. All mea is inspired by Hawaiian Culture & Hawaiʻi’s Local Lifestyle.

Kanahele Roots / Pōhinahina Kinis
Aloha Kākou, my name is Lehuanani Kanahele-Santos, a mahi’ai (farmer) and entrepreneur from Pu’uhonua ‘o Waimānalo. My passion for ʻāina-based healing led me to explore lāʻau lapaʻau (traditional Hawaiian medicine), which inspired the creation of my sea moss gel. From there, I expanded my journey into designing bikinis that empower wahine (women) of all sizes and shapes to embrace and celebrate their bodies.

Nā Mea ‘Ono
My baking journey began way back when my 3 kids were younger and I would bake for their birthdays, school and sports events. Then for Our Ohana get togethers and other people’s parties. It was something I enjoyed to do for my Ohana. I then stopped baking for a long time as my kids got older and I worked more. Didn’t start baking again until COVID happened. We was all in lock down and things started to open up but no bakery, or people just didn’t want to go out. So my Daughter Hiʻliei started to nag me and tell me mom people keep asking when your mom going bake her Bundt cakes, cornbread etc again. I said no I don’t bake anymore get the heck away from me. Then it got worse with more request, more Mom blah blah blah and then me getting bored just being at home. Plus my husband Wes and Aunty Mai would tell me to just bake because people wanted desserts. So I gave into Hii nagging and here we are today. I’m glad Hiʻilei kicked me in the ASS to get it going again. I really enjoy bringing homemade baked goods to all my Ohana, friends and strangers who are now friends who I meet thru my daughter Lehuas baby (Pu’uhonua Makeke) Mahalo to everyone who supports this Crazy, Wild, Grouchy, and Loving NANA(What my grandsons call me). My grandson from my son Keiki and Shardae Kūnuiākeas favorite is brownie bites and now his brother Pahili tries to grab them off my baking cart when I’m baking. but he’s too young for it right now
